Bacon & Basil Fettuccine Alfredo

Bacon & Basil Fettuccine Alfredo
Bacon & Basil Fettuccine Alfredo is an easy meal that your family will love!
Equipment
- Cast Iron
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 teaspoon pink salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 slices of bacon
- 8 oz fettuccine
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoon flour
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- fresh chopped basil
Instructions
- Salt and pepper the chicken.
- Preheat your oven to 350.
- Start boiling water. Once the water starts boiling add the pasta.
- Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a cast iron pan. Remove the bacon and then add the chicken.
- Cook the chicken for 4 minutes on both sides. Put the pan with chicken in the oven and cook for 10 minutes or until internal temp of the chicken is 165'.
- Remove the pan carefully and put on stove. Remove the chicken. Slice the chicken. Dice the bacon
- Add butter and garlic to the hot pan (be careful). Saute for one minute on medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until combined. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan. Add the milk until you get the consisntency you like. Full cup for thinner, half cup for thicker.
- Add the chicken, bacon, and basil. Cook for a few minutes. Add the pasta and stir.
