Peach Cobbler Made From Canned Peaches

Ingredients for Filling:

– Canned peaches sliced  – Vanilla extract – Light brown sugar – Cornstarch dissolved – Salted butter – Cinnamon optional

– Self-rising flour – Sugar – Light brown sugar – Egg – Whole milk – Vanilla extract

Ingredients for Batter:

Make the Filling:

- In a deep sauce pan on high heat, brown the stick of butter - Once the butter is completely browned, lower heat and stir in the sugar - Stir in the peaches with their syrup, salt, cinnamon (if using)

Make the Batter:

– Preheat the oven to 350℉ – Whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla together until incorporated. – Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture

Put together!

– Brown the butter  – Pour the batter on top of the butter. – Spoon the peach mixture on top of the batter – Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown
