Ingredients

small head of green cabbage
cut into thin strips
1/2
pound
Andouille or smoked sausage cubed
1/2
pound
shrimp
deveined
1/2
small white onion
julienned
3
tbsp
bacon grease or butter
1/4
cup
chicken stock
2
tablespoons
garlic minced
1/2
tsp
paprika
2
tsp
Slap Ya Mama or another Cajun seasoning
Instructions
Heat your Dutch oven on high. Add part of the bacon grease or butter, onion and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes until the onions are opaque.
Add the Sausage.
Turn the heat down to medium. Add the stock and the cabbage and seasoning and cook for 10 minutes or until the cabbage is done.
Move the cabbage mixture to one side and add more butter and let the shrimp cook on one side.
Once they are done. Stir and cover and remove from heat. Let sit a few minutes. Serve!
