  • 6 ears of corn husked and cleaned
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Method
 

  1. Husk and clean 6 ears of corn.
  2. In a large pot or Instant Pot, combine all of the ingredients.
  3. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until the butter melts. Use 'Saute' if you using Instant Pot.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove the corn from the pot using tongs and serve.
