Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 7 oz jar marshmallow creme or fluff
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or other flavor)
  • 1 tbs heavy cream
  • 1-2 drops food coloring (optional)

  • Stand or electric hand mixer

Method
 

  1. Cream together the butter and shortening with an electric mixer
  2. Add in the powdered sugar, marshmallow, and vanilla and mix on low speed until the sugar has combined
  3. Add in heavy cream and increase the speed to high and whip for 2 minutes
