walnuts and cranberries

Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves shredded
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
Add the diced apples, chopped celery, halved grapes, and chopped walnuts. Mix with the dressing to coat evenly.
Add the lettuce and toss if serving immediately. Wait to combine if serving later.
Optionally, garnish with additional chopped walnuts or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
For the best flavor, chill the salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
