- 6 ears of corn husked and cleaned
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt

- Husk and clean 6 ears of corn.
- In a large pot or Instant Pot, combine all of the ingredients.
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until the butter melts. Use 'Saute' if you using Instant Pot.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Remove the corn from the pot using tongs and serve.
