This is actually one of my favorite things to cook in an air fryer – easy to put together and it tastes fantastic! You can cook it in the oven or in an air fryer. Plus, it’s so simple that anyone can do it. All you need is a few simple ingredients and 10 minutes of your time to prep.

Now to Assemble your Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin…

Lay out the bacon slices on a rack – or a cutting board if you are using a basket air fryer. Thinner bacon works better so you can wrap it easily. Do make sure the tenderloin will fit in your air fryer!

Add some brown sugar on top and then wrap slices of bacon around the pork tenderloin. Use tooth picks to hold the bacon in place.

Then add to the air fryer rack or basket. Cover and cook 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F. Then remove the cover and brown the bacon and let the internal temp hit 145 degrees F.

Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

How long does it take to cook a piece of pork in the air fryer?

It really depends on the thickness of the pork. A good rule of thumb is to cook it for about 15 minutes per pound. So, if you have a two-pound pork loin, you’ll need to cook it for about 30 minutes.

Can I cook frozen pork in an air fryer?

Yes, you can! Just make sure that you cook it for a longer period of time. We recommend cooking it for about 20 minutes per pound. So, if you have a two-pound pork loin, you’ll need to cook it for about 40 minutes.

What temperature do you cook a pork tenderloin in the air fryer?

We recommend cooking it at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This will vary by air fryer – you may want a little higher or lower depending on how your air fryer cooks.

How to create a cover in a rack style air fryer:

If you have a rack style air fryer, you can create a cover by placing a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the pork and then adding another rack above it. This will keep the foil from flying up into the heating element.
